Gaffey Electric Mixers

Manufactured by Gaffey Technical Services Ltd, the PD63 series electric mixer is an industrial quality product designed specifically for mixing aggressive and oxiding liquids in harsh environments. Chemical mixers and agitators can be used in a great many different applications that require the safe mixing of chemicals.

The motor casing and mounting flange is coated in a high quality 2-pack epoxy paint for maximum corrosion protection. Motor bearings are protected by a Viton® seal. AS 316 stainless steel shaft is attached to the motor by a collar assembly and balanced. All shaft components are completely shrouded in durable Viton®. The polypropylene propeller is field serviceable. Available in 3 sizes to suit 100, 200 & 500 litre day tanks, all are supplied fitted with 2m of flexible cable terminated with a BS1363 plug, fused at 2A. A tank mounting kit and installation instructions are included.

Gaffey Electric mixers are supplied complete with fitting template, mounting kit & PAT test certificate. Motors are IP55, with a double epoxy paint coating offering excellent chemical resistance. Mixer shaft made of 316s.s. with Viton sheathing & polypropylene propeller blade. Continuously rated.

Where mixers are to be fitted on 200 and 500 litre tanks we strongly recommend that a rigid PVC tank-top reinforcing plate* is used.
