Where are TCDO/chlorine dioxide water treatment chemicals used?

TCDO/chlorine dioxide water treatment chemicals are a specialist treatment option with general applications where humans come into contact with water. This includes pool water treatment, but also shallow areas such as water play & features, as well as wet surfaces in and around spa pools.

WAPOTEC System

The WAPOTEC Hydroxan chlorine dioxide (TCDO) dosing system is supplied in a 25kg drum and can be continuously dosed via a peristaltic pump, similarly to PAC flocculant chemicals.

Features of the WAPOTEC Hydroxan system include:

0.1-0.2 ppm chlorine dioxide residual throughout the pool circuit.

Maximum pressure 1.5 bar.

Flow rates between 10-800 cubic metres per hour.

DesoPur

DesoPur TCDO agent is a 25kg drum for use in filter media regeneration and balance tank cleansing applications. It releases a controlled quantity of chlorine dioxide and is suitable for use in higher concentrations to regenerate activated carbon media in ozone systems and to treat Cryptosporidium contamination.

Apply to filtration vessels using the DesoClenz treatment kit for dilution and distribution throughout the filter bed. This is available through service partners - contact Gaffey for more information.
